♥ cycling and skating
yest had a long and fun day for me.... haha.... early in the morning wen out at 7.30am to kk hospital to buy medicine for my brother... wen to bugis wait for shuttle bus but waited for half an hour still no bus... so no choice have to take cab down... den very fast got the medicine... and took a cab to bugis junction and and took bus home... reach home eat a abit dumpling.... oh... the dumpling so nice... especially is mami make de... red bean dumpling... yeah... den rest awhile... wen off at 11am to bedok interchange... to meet derek gan ge for lunch.... which he wanted.... but he was very late... so i stay at the interchange there and examine the weather... cos it was drizzling..
but a weather forecaster told me it will stop around 2pm... and it did... so we wen off to east coast park... nearly miss our way as we didnt know exactly where to stop.... den we walk quite a distance to near underground pass the bicycle shop and rented a double and single bike.... me and weixien cycled the double... oh my god... i cant control it well.... den wen weixien was in front... i was talking and talking rubbish... (too nervous till i duno what i talking).... den later abit brain freeze... den wen we wanted to u-turn and go back.... weixien wan change place... i dun wan... den ask derek gan ge change with me... den he double with weixien... i took derek gan ge single bike... but hard to cycle... cos no gear and hard to cycle.... so cycle quite slow... den derek gan ge wanted to compete me... so he ride very fast... den weixien was screaming and shouting cos derek gan ge momentum was very fast... she cant catch it... so her leg was often on the bar...
it was derek gan ge cycling instead... den he will always sway alot here and there... and make a sharp turn where the front no effect... the back person can feel alot.... so weixien scream and scream until the other end.... den haha... i change with weixien.... she took the single bike... i sat behind derek gan ge.... true... his momentum very fast... but was able to catch it... except once.... den his swaying here and there was really scary... i was also small shouting... haha.... but he didnt did it as much to me as he did it to weixien... haha...
den yuxian reach.... cos we wanted to call him come down and cycle with us.... he double with derek gan ge... but he wear jeans and sport shoe down... gave alot of excuses... den suddenly talking about skating... oh cool... den cos we wanted to skate as if cycling... yuxian cant join... so we change to skate when we still have about 45 mins left...
wen we put on everything.... the skate shoe.... the knee guard... my own hand guard... didnt put the elbow guard as was very loose... den cos i was the only one who didnt know how to skate... i had to hold on to yuxian... cos he wasnt skating... den weixien... derek gan ge teach me how to skate.... manage to learn the basic but when starting out all the way to the other end.... i didnt fall at all.... only swaying back and forth... cos hard to balance... den learn some tactics... bent myself down so able to balance well....
den sorry was cos when swaying... derek gan ge or weixien holding me will get affected and nearly fall down too.... den cos keep bending... having back ache very soon.... den consider very good cos i didnt really fall down and wen quite a distance with some help and support and after that... i slowly let go and try it on my own.... starting unable to coordinate my legs.. cos the skate heavy... den finally fall down once... the correct way... in front of me... but was consider very good...
den i kept looking down... cos only den able to coordinate my legs and skate well... wen i look up... lose coordination again... haha.... den wen back fell down quite a few times... only once on my buttock.... haha.... den it make derek gan ge fell down also... in front of me... den weixien and yuxian told me... when we both fell down.... a cyclist cycled past me and brake near derek gan ge and lend him his hand to help him up... after that he cycled off.. i didnt see that cos i was looking at them behind me... haha.... derek gan ge got more attractiveness den me...
den there was two times when my skate wen out of line... nearly going into the grass.... had to hold on yuxianand i make a very nice turn... haha... if i did it on my own that cool... the problem is i duno how to brake and turn... haha... still my basic not that good... need to practice more... but see other people skate so well... it make me wan to improve myself... den got once i fall down... some malay gerls on bicycle ask if i ok... oh... i wan to improve myself well more...
den we back to the rental place... felt sorry cos yuxian got hurt by me... got cut... my roller skate wen over his shoes... mouth got hit by me and bled abit.... den shirt got nearly teared up by me... haha... diao... it seem like the person not skating is worse den the person who skate for the first time.. but after that... got a treat from derek gan ge... at jumbo.... had cereal prawns... butter crab... scallop with veggie... chicken shredded with veggie soup... and golden mantou.... had a full dinner... and weixien had her future told... by yuxian... her husband... etc etc... haha... she so curious... den later cos the environment very nice and the wind is so cooling... wen to nearby side of the beach and sat down... enjoy the wind and chat.... chatting with derek gan ge.. while weixien and yuxian chatting... cos we both gerls sit in the middle... haha... den after not long... weixien was freezing... haha... den we walked to the underground and walk quite a distance to a bus stop...
den happen we both gerls have the same bus that can reach home... so the guys waited with us until we went up the bus.... had some talk with weixien... really should think about it... that all for now... will post the pics up after i got it from weixien and organizing more outing with her.... never had such a fun and relaxing day le....
